John Andrews is a native of Charlottesville, Virginia.  He attended the University of Notre Dame where he received his Bachelor of Arts in English and Juris Doctor.  After Law School he joined the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of General Counsel in Washington, D.C. where he worked with the U.S. Forest Service and the Rural Electrification Administration.  He joined the Richmond, Virginia office of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  After 10 years of federal service John entered private practice in Charlottesville, and in 1992 he moved to Washington where he joined John Bishop and Gary Cunningham. John is admitted to practice in both Kitsap County tribal courts.

John is married to Maryann, and they have three children, 6 grandchildren and their Spinone Italiano, Bella, who is also at the office full time.  His outside interests include woodworking, gardening, and backpacking.

Nina was born and raised in Europe, but has deep roots in Washington. She attended University of Washington and Seattle University School of Law. During law school, Nina excelled at legal writing, serving as an editor on the school’s legal publication.

Nina’s legal background is diverse. After law school, she joined a private Seattle law firm as a family law attorney. She has worked and volunteered at legal aid organizations, serving clients with family law, landlord/tenant, and administrative issues. Nina also has experience with a variety of civil cases in state and federal court. Nina’s current practice includes family law and adoption, personal injury, administrative law, and business law.

In her spare time, Nina enjoys biking with her husband and children, sampling the local micro brews, and reading books with her book club.

Shawna received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington and her law degree from Seattle University. She has over 15 years’ experience working with disabled, seniors, caregivers, and families in a variety of settings as a medical social worker. Her prior experience assists her as an attorney in understanding the issues you may be facing and providing relevant advice and advocacy. Her practice includes estate planning, probate, guardianship, and real estate. She serves as a Guardian ad Litem for Kitsap and Mason Counties. She is also a member of the Washington State Bar Association Real Property Probate and Trust Section and Elder Law Section.

Shawna is a native of the area and loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, and gardening.
